Fattoria di Corsignano is a charming Country Estate with only 10 apartments and 4 guest rooms nestled in the Chianti Classico rolling hills above Siena. Nearby hill towns of Castellina in Chianti, Vagliagli, Gaiole, Greve and Panzano expand the delights of kitchen and vineyard.
Guests enjoy a unique, relaxing experience savoring the comfort and hospitality of a 54-acre country estate.
Apartments and suites have been lovingly restored in the Tuscan farmhouse style.
All accommodations overlook Siena or the Chianti vineyards, provided with an independent entrance and a private terrace, garden or patio.

The workshop fills very quickly so register early.

Day 1 SATURDAY: Arrival, Check-In & Welcome Dinner

• Arrival at Siena train station and transfer to estate
• Check in, relax, and enjoy an aperitivo.
• Welcome Gourmet Dinner. Wine is included.

Day 2 SUNDAY: Outdoor market and the most famous butcher in Italy

• Breakfast is served.
• Depart for Panzano in Chianti.
• Visit the Sunday Market of Panzano and the worlds most famous Butcher, Dario Cecchini.
• Lunch at Solo Ciccia (Dario’s Restaurant).
• Return to hotel.
• Visit of Fattoria di Corsignano’s cellars.
• Dinner in Fattoria. Wine is included.

Day 3 MONDAY: Cooking Class 1 & Siena by night

• Breakfast is served.
• After breakfast, head to the kitchen for your first Tuscan cooking class. Lunch follows and everyone eats the foods prepared in class together. Water and local wine included.
• Afternoon free to relax or visit Siena by night.
• Dinner your own, suggestions available on request.

Day 4 TUESDAY: Excursion To Brunello di Montalcino Winery & Abbazia di Sant’Antimo

• Breakfast is served.
• After breakfast, excursion to one of the area’s most prestigious wineries to find out more about the production of the great red wine Brunello di Montalcino. A light lunch is included and dishes will be accompanied by some of the vineyard’s best reds.
• In the afternoon, proceed to the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in Italy, where you’ll also be able to hear the monks perform their poignant Gregorian chants.
• Stop off in Montalcino with free time to do a little shopping.
• Return to hotel.
• Dinner in Fattoria. Wine is included.

Day 5 WEDNESDAY: Siena open air market & Cooking Class 2

• Breakfast is served.
• Bus ride to Siena to enjoy the wonderful Weekly Open Air Market.
• Lunch in Siena.
• Return to Corsignano and after a break, head to the kitchen for cooking class number two. Dinner follows and includes the dishes made in class. Wine is included.

Day 6 THURSDAY: Excursion To Valdichiana & Val d’Orcia

• Breakfast is served.
• After breakfast, excursion to one of the area’s most important Museums on Etruscan ruins.
• Visit a master coppersmith with a demonstration of his work.
• Lunch at an organic farm followed by a cheese making lesson and a visit of the farm
• Return to hotel.
• Dinner in Fattoria. Wine is included.

Day 7 FRIDAY: Cooking Class 3

• Breakfast is served.
• After breakfast, excursion to San Gimignano. Wander through this Medieval town’s winding streets, pop into the many artists’ workshops and enjoy sampling some of the area’s Chianti.
• Lunch in Monteriggioni at the famous Bar Orso.
• Return to Corsignano and after a break, head to the kitchen for cooking class number three.
• Your Farewell Dinner follows and includes the special dishes made in class. Wine is included.

Day 8 SATURDAY: Check Out & Arrivederci

• Breakfast is served.
• Check out and transfer to Siena station.
• Arrivederci!
