Chianti Classico Fattoria di Corsignano DOCG 2007

The Chianti Classico is composed of 95% Sangiovese grapes and 5% Tuscan Canaiolo.
The grapes have been harvested by hand in baskets and are a blend of Corisgnano’s best vineyards.

VINIFICATION
The maturation is made in small cement basins for 20 days at a temperature of 28-30°C, with alternating pumping over the cap
The malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously

AGEING
Turn-over of ageing in French oak barrels of 10hl for 1 year

DESCRIPTION
Colour: intense ruby deep red
Fragrance: mature red fruit, spices and violet highlights
Taste: dry, full body, soft tannins, well balanced
Serving suggestion: pastas with traditional ragù, grilled meat, seasoned cheese
